The Launch Engineer II supports and facilitates product development from prototype through production; ensures design, manufacturing, assembly and other problems are detected and resolved as early as possible in the product development cycle.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Facilitate product maturation phase of new launch
Record and track all open issues to closure
Review advanced quality planning documents, FMEA's, PDS, Process Flow Diagrams, etc. to resolve issues during the development and launch of a new product
Assist in processing and delivering prototype parts
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Automotive industry experience
2-10 years of launch experience is required
Injection molding experience (lighting highly preferred)
Must be authorized to work in the United StatesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
