Job DescriptionMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESManaging automation projects to improve productivity, quality and consistency.
Assist with design, planning and execution of automation / robotics in the plant.
Consistent improvements on assembly equipment by making programming changes in the PLC or other systems to reduce cycle time and increase reliabilityWork with schematics and diagrams for electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic controls.
Developing and changing of automation processes through programming the PLCImplementing additional vision systems and scanners, setting up communication to the main PLC and integrating it into the codeProvide higher level of support for maintenance technicians during break down situations through troubleshooting methodsDeveloping and executing training for development of other team membersOTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIESCreative thinking skillsDetailed-oriented personalityAbility to communicate well to other team membersAbility to troubleshoot equipment problemsAbility to keep up with the latest technologies as they are developedAble to identify new opportunities for automation within manufacturing processesAble to work on a cross functional teams with members from other Dura manufacturing plantsAbout the Company:
