We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our Internal Medicine team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing patient care, assisting physicians with medical procedures, and maintaining patient records.
The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of medical terminology and must be able to work independently and efficiently.
We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
Administer medications as directed by the physician.
Perform diagnostic tests such as EKGs, phlebotomy, and other lab tests.
Assist physicians with medical procedures.
Record patient medical histories and vital signs.
Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Maintain patient records and filing systems.
